Into the fire.
Everything here is given. The essays, the poetry, the books as they are written, the recording of every chapter. There is no door and there will not be one. The divine is within; I am not going to charge you admission to what you already are.
I give it freely because that is my dharma. But there is more to it than duty. To give freely — to throw into the fire that which may or may not be — is what releases you to become what you are. It does not matter whether the thing is money, or a belief, or a wound, or a name you have been carrying. You give without regard for what comes back. You act without attachment to the outcome. That is the method, and this site is one place I practice it. As soon as you release yourself from that cycle of bondage, only then can you see.
Every institution that exists — religious, governmental, ideological, it does not matter which — exists only through the bondage of obligation. That we cannot be. So nothing here obliges you, and nothing you give obliges me. Nothing here changes whether you give or not.
If you want to give, give the same way. Not to me, and not for a result. Into the fire, without keeping account.

- Or give something that is not money: the thing you have been holding back. Throw it in. That is the same act.
If more people took this up and lived this way, threw everything in, what would be transformed?
What is given in money goes to the small company my wife and I run to make this work. It is not tax-deductible; this is not a charity. It is two people making things and giving them away. — Daniel
